BACKBEAT.TV

MUSIC FIRST. ALWAYS.

Music television, back in the room.

Backbeat.TV is an independent retro music-video station with curated channels, original sets, and a continuous scheduled rotation.

A station you can settle into.

Backbeat.TV brings music videos into a familiar retro television, with daily listening-room backgrounds and a music-first approach. The library includes 213 music videos across eight channels, plus six original 12-video sets and nostalgia breaks.

How does the 24/7 station work?

A shared schedule runs continuously, even when nobody has the page open. When you tune in, the player joins the current scheduled video. The rotation repeats; it is not a live concert feed or a licensed linear television broadcast. You can rejoin the current point or switch to a personal channel at any time.

What can I watch?

Explore ’80s pop, ’90s alternative and grunge, classic rock, metal, old-school hip-hop, new wave, pop, and music from the turn of the millennium. Original sets include Friday Night Metal, After School ’94, Midnight Alternative, The House Party, Neon Night Drive, and The ’90s Rock Block.

Playback and source credits.

Videos play through the standard YouTube player. Artists, labels, networks, and brands retain their rights. Backbeat.TV does not download or rehost their videos and is not affiliated with MTV or YouTube. Ads, autoplay restrictions, age limits, regional availability, and embedding permissions can affect playback. Use each source link to view a video on YouTube.

Privacy and preferences.

Saved picks and viewing preferences stay in your browser. No Backbeat account is required. Thumbnails and embedded videos connect to YouTube services. Backbeat.TV adds no analytics or advertising trackers. Read Google’s privacy policy.
